BER ASSESSORS
Our BER assessors are fully qualified and registered with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) www.sei.ie they will carry out your BERs in a professional and friendly manor.
We will carry out your BER assessments at whatever time suite you or your tenants whether that is weekdays evenings or weekends.
FULL ENERGY AUDITS
All buildings are different you may be living next door to a house that looks the same, has the same number of people living there and their bill seem to be much less than yours, you even think that you must be paying half of their bills. The truth is if you know how to use your energy correctly you can save a lot on energy bills there are between 55 and 70 different parameters that can impact on the energy performance and rating of a dwelling.
A survey would take between one and three hours depending on the property size and configuration, and will not involve any disturbance to the interior or exterior of your home. A detailed improvement report will give you practical solutions on how cost-effective savings and energy efficiency can be optimised, leading to an upgraded building energy rating (BER) a more comfortable and valuable home that cuts fuel bills and reduces CO2s.
THERMAL IMAGING & AIR PRESSURE TESTING
The fabric of a building is where most of your heat and money is lost. How can you identify the problem in the buildings fabric without pulling the walls apart? There are two ways (1) air pressure testing helps to identify air leaks from the building envelope such as gaps and cracks. Controlling air leakage will reduce the energy required to keep comfort levels and cut fuel bills and it increases the energy performance and rating of the building. (2) Thermal Imaging cameras can pin point temperature variations and identify patterns of heat loss from your home that are invisible to the naked eye. It is an invaluable tool in providing a cost-effective remedial work solution.
